Discuss Is this tile trim a professional standard in the America Tile Forum / Advice Board area at TilersForums.com.

Is this acceptable tile trim job. How should it be done. Can it be ripped out easily and redone. Any advice welcome. Also is this grouting an acceptable standard. What's your tiling question? Pictures can be added.

No it’s not even a poor DIY standard! Lots of issues, have you paid for the work? If not then don’t.
Thanks for replying. It’s been a very stressful experience. A bathroom refurb that’s had other issues too.

Unfortunately yes I have paid. Is it easy to take the trim off and replace it. How should the joints be done. some tiling not good with raised tiles. Will it be able to be rectified and what would it be likely to cost.

That is horrendous mate. I would suggest you contact the person who did this and demand a full refund. It's really bad that. There isn't a cheap way to rectify it that I know of unfortunately.

They should just give you your money back to ensure their name isn't plastered all over facebook etc in a negative regard. They wont want that. Sadly however you will then have to pay to have the whole lot ripped out and re done I should think.

Either that or take them to small claims to cover the whole cost. It's that bad.
