Last night we had a downpour for about 15 minutes that absolutely battered the house, followed by about 20 minutes of wind, and then nothing, total silence until the dawn chorus and then bright blue skies and brilliant sunshine. So I sent Mr GRR out on his mountain bike with a friend who has just started training for a triathlon and literally about 20 minutes after he went out, it started raining again :lol: thankfully he missed the bulk of it :lol: but the wind has got up again and he struggled to cycle up the last bank to home because of a head wind :grin:
