Johnsons Tiles(again)

More quality today from Johnsons!......Zeppelin Silver 500mmx200mm.
While I was upstairs trying set out the bathroom,the customer changed there minds 4 times on it being half bond/full bond/half bond before deciding on half bond.....settled I thought!
Oh no........I had half a dozen tiles on the wall before I had to give up and go and tell the customer it was going to have to be full bond.........warped tiles.... I didn't stand a cat in hells chance of getting it right.
Looking down the tile,not warped in one direction,more like an S bend!

Well........you live in hope!(that you don't have scrutinise the tile before fitting. Hayho!)

You have more chance of getting a table at the 'Cook and Barker' than getting a usable Johnsons tile!

Yep , use J,s on one of the big builders sites , shocking quality imho.

Worked with these many times on site. Dreadful tiles. Always bricking 50/50 and every tile had a slight lip. They were bowed by 2mm.

First thing I do with any make of tile if it's going to be cross bond set is check for planetising .. Then if warped I explain problems to the customer.

Shocking quality with this company,even 20x10 metros are bowed,customers look at you a bit funny when you try and explain until you get your level on them
