Just a few questions??

The tiles are 600 x 300 so would you make it the size of 1 tile? I did that on my first job under a sink but it was ply....I cut a notch out the size of a tile minus 25 mm all the way around put 4 battons around the hole so that i could screw magnets on and then like you said siliconed it and it looked great...can this be done with hardiebacker??

YES monty with the right prep of the panel anything is possible..........even using the mirror screws in each corner and having a fully removable panel is possible.....which ever is going to look the neatest.....

Cheers guys Well i got the go ahead today....I estimated £280 inc materials....thats for tiling the panel, 3.5 m2 floor and the patch up around the toilet.What would you guys have estimated?Thanks

Forgot to mention....This is my first porcelain job..Will my genesis dry cutter and my plasplugs contrator cope with the tiles? Any tips on cutting around the toilet (lifting it up not a option) Thanks

Price sounds roughly right IMO. As for cutting round a toilet i cut a piece of lining paper the same size as a tile then using it as a template put it where you want the tile to go and crease the paper round the toilet edge and then draw along the crease with a pencil. Cut out the shape and transfer this to the tile. Worked great for me recently.

Yes thats the way i was taught at nett....i've used this method on ceramics..will i be able to scribe the shape then cut as much as i can with my plasplugs and then the rest with nibblers?

Customer has asked about putting a sealer joint around the bath (link below) and asked what do i think about this method??? Anybody used this method before? Or should i just advice Silicon?

I don't use them monty as they just collect all the crap etc..........and if a bath has that much movement( in pic ) then it needs sorting before tiling....... ...

A nice neat Silicon line looks better every time IMO............
