I personally know two really quick tilers, i personally prefer a slower pace and enjoy it more.

i was fast in my younger days but i do not class myself as fast now i am tooooooo old and tooooooooooooooo fat.

If i'm on a supermarket i layer around 320m2 a day of terrazzo there 300x300 and we put 25 tons of reddy mix under the tiles every day, thats a 4 man squad 1 tiler 3 labours. We start at 8am and are finished by 5.30 max every night your backs sore, we had 1 boy last year that lasted a day then his mum called that night and said he thinks his back is broke and needs to go to the doctors tomorrow i tryed very hard not to laugh down the phone.
