Hi,

After 22 years in I.T. and being made redundant twice in the last three years, I have decided to do something for me instead. I have dabbled in tiling before the first time I got made redundant, but got offered another I.T. job and took the easy option. I have always done my own DIY jobs at home and am fairly proficient.

I did a tiling course local to me in the North East of England recently, but it only covered ceramic wall and floor tiling, so I may be asking questions later on if I come up against something I am not too sure of.

One of the reasons I went on the tling course was to see if I could get some idea of how to price a job up as I am hopeless at this, if only I had joined this forum first, the information is already listed. So thanks already and I hope to be posting questions soon.

Welcome aboard, don't worry about not being to good at pricing up, i ain't great at it either, but i tell you what it ain't stopped me from getting bookings!!!!!!!!!! 3 weeks out of the centre and now fully booked until Feb thanks to 2 more confirmations today!!!!!

Be big inside, don't be shy and ask for what you want.
