just tried to use my grinder

to do a curved cut and it went absolutely terribly lol all over the place and think ive gone a bit deaf lol

Grinders have one of the highest decibel ratings of most power tools. Get some ear protection.

You need to hold the grinder at a shallow angle to the tile. Oh and a bit of PPE wouldn't be a bad idea.

I don't trust myself with pipes il ask me cousin to do it for me then il just go under it.

If you're doing a curved cut, you won't be able to do it in one pass with a straight blade. Score the surface of the tile 1-2mm deep, then do loads of straight cut to the score line, nip the sections out, then use the grinder to tidy up.
