Kerakoll adhesives

Just been to prep for monday and the lady has Kerakoll Ideal. I used a free bag of rapid last week and seemed ok, but i've got 28m2 of stone on the walls and don't want any problems. Has anyone used this or other Kerakoll and got some advice for me. thanks.

Used quite a bit of it without any problems. Good adhesive but it doesn't hang the best on heavier wall tiles. If you're getting it for a good price it's worth it. The Fugabella grouts are good too.

Mapei is the world's largest manufacturer of building materials. And is priced very well as a result. And the quality is spot on. (I love their grout range which is unbeatable and matches their Silicon's perfectly).

Kerakoll not only don't have much market share in the UK. When Dave (the guy that runs this forum) had a problem he couldn't even get the rep out to the job. You wouldn't get that problem with mapei - their backup is A1.

Mapei on both counts, they have got the right products at the right prices

Now, if you're talking good back up service when things go wrong - I can personally vouch for Weber.

I've never had any experience with Mapai or the other one.

I'v been using Kerakoll adhesives lately and I have no doubt about their quality.Superb to say the least and mapei is no better.The kerakoll adhesive is smoother and does grip the wall like no other.A 1200x1200 tile planted on a wall with no support and it doesn't slip !!Bring on a test I say too.

I would say great service John.
No bull I really do like the stuff,
If you want to pay me I'll say better, lol.
Serious though it is damn good.
I'll get more feedback on Chester this week too and I know they got 500m2
+down last week.
It is being well tested.
Keep your fingers crossed.
