When i started tiling a few years ago i approached a local kitchen company to let me have a go at tiling a kitchen for them, the bloke was so arrogant and said we only use qualified tilers and they were not interested and not to call them again....Anyway i was tiling a slate floor today and this guy turned up because they are fitting the kitchen, and he was impressed with my work and said...I have decided you can work for my company now...I replied SORRY MATE IM TO GOOD NOW AND IM NOT INTERESTED AND DONT BOTHER CALLING ME.....God that made my day

just right mate f*** him when i started out tiling i had a bad experience with a kitchen company.had them out to quote for replacing my kitchen and asked him did he need any tilers and he replied aragantly no we have experienced tilers everyone asks us for work so i didnt order the £3500 kitchen and i bump into him from time to time in my local bar in bangor and has said might have a bit of work if your stuck even if i was i wouldnt take f*** all from the w*****.
