Kitchen floor help

I have just been to look at a job walls & floor in a kitchen the floor is about 5 m2 and the kitchen fitter has put the units straight onto solid vinyl .
I have checked the vinyl and it is solid and not blown anywhere would it be ok for tiling over and if so what is best addy and would i have to prime it first thanks in advance for any assistance regarding this mik.

better to lift the vinyl if possible , if not and the subfloor is solid (not wooden) you can use a single part flexible adhesive , no primer ,and ensure that the surface is clean and free from grease and polish etc..

Yes dave as you would get in a commercial kitchen or hospital without the skirted areas done .
The floor below is concrete solid as stated the vinyl is solid and not blown what would you reckomend to clean it ? if possible to lay on it ?.

It can deteriate and then your tiles will be stuck to nothing solid.

Use aheat gun and take it up.....the use a latex leveller to get a good surface....

The use of a knife to score it into smaller sections will aid in getting it up...
