Pricing for a kitchen that has had an extension built on thus half the floor is floorboard and the rest chipboard at about 4mm lower.

Im thinking 12mm ply over the lot and build up the lower area with 4-6mm ply (depending on variant) underneath the 12mm
Would you then overboard the 12mm with no-more ply or tile straight to???

would it be possible to bridge it with a membrane dave?

have decided, 4mm ply then overboard with NMP

do you think Im going to need a movement membrane too?

Further research on here leads me to believe I can use an expansion joint instead. The joint between the two structures is only small

i would use an expansion,better safe than sorry
