Kitchen wall quote

Just looked at a job, 4sqm on kitchen walls, 4 inch tiles, there is 7 power sockets, half a day wall prep, scrape old adhesive and repair a few holes with rapid set, a piece of plaster board 4inch by 14 inch needs replacing, there is no windows to tile round just under the sill...WHAT WOULD YOU QUOTE?

I would just quote a days work at what ever you normally charge. By the time you have done and dusted you won't do much else that day.

Unless you nead the practice, you want to avoid doing that kind of work too cheap or you will be a busy fool

Normally £100 - £200 per day plus materials, if they can get it done cheaper let them, unless you want to do this sort of thing for the rest of your life..

I have been quoting £280 ish for splashbacks enduro, and getting them (four out of four and looking at one tonight). In the South East that seems to be about the going rate.......thank goodness :hurray:

4inch tiles over 4 m2 is a lot of tiles and long grout lines to keep clean. i am with you on price for this.

Quoted £210 for something similar but didn't get it. The amount off tilers thats around here the now i'll have to start paying customers to do their tiling:lol: . Some off the prices i've heard are £10m2.

Just got asked to quote a very similar job, splashback of about 5sqm, plasterboard has holes all over it and i mean right through so you can see the studwork! Haven`t given a price yet but said it would be easier to cut out the whole strip of plasterboard between the worktop and bottom of the wall units and replace with new rather than trying to fix every hole

Without looking at anyones replies I jotted down £290, and I would say that is a very good price...........for the customer. Hope it goes well for you.

i priced a bathroom yesterday morning they want it started on monday 15mtrs walls and 2 mtrs floor i said i wud ply the floor 33o all in...hasvnt heard back yet..and some of these on here are getting 300 for poxy splashbacks !!! u can do in 5-6 hours wot is going on????
