Got a kitchen to quote for today, about 4 sqm in total to be lain in 10 x 10 ceramics.

Customer wants me to remove old tiles and skim if needed. Told the customer that the walls may well need sorting out before i am able to re tile.

Question in what should i use to smooth out the wall ready to tile on? He doesn't want to wait days for plaster to dry, basically wants them off then on. What are my other options rather than skimming over with plaster.

Also what would you charge to remove 4 sqm of old tiles and sort the walls out?

Thx
