L shaped cuts

This has come up a couple of times recently so I took a couple of pics when I was doing one today, hope it helps a couple of people.

Score the 2 lines on dry cutter, then make a diagonal cut into the corner using a wet cutter or grinder.

Then put the tile back into the dry cutter an snap the 2 pieces out.

Hey presto, an nice clean L cut with no chipping.

How I do it bri, but make a 3rd score cut from point to point where the first two meet the edge then snap off the triangle. Will save those diamonds on your grinder

Very thin glaze, none of the biscuit is showing so I'm confident when grouted it will not be seen

That was quite an old wheel with a light score, I'll take a pic tomorrow of what a new wheel did! Not pretty! Reminded me of the porcelanosa ceramics where the glaze 'popped' for about a minute after scoring, don't know if you've ever fitted those.

one of the worst ones ive fitted were like the b&q porca ones,the 600 x 600,the were not b&q but looked very much like them,they chipped at the sight of a cutter,very bad.
its a thing i think we have to put up with,some are good some are rubbish.

On a bright note my d24000 has turned up today,im a tad upset it got delivered to my wifes unit so i aint seen it yet

Lol, you could put some fairy lights on a Sigma, I still wouldn't use it :lol: Tell you what, I'll try a 60cm Sigma when I get a chance and give that a good blast, I think that's the only way I'm going to come round to the Sigma way of thinking. My 2 months with my 3DM were my darkest tiling days :lol:
