had a night to sleep on it thanks for all your imput ive decided to recommend rip out and start again. it was my first thought when viewing the job in the1st place was trying to save her money if possible as she has all ready lost 1k

Yep start again would be safer for sure and then a quick lesson in cheapest is not always the best.

These days, I always stick by the rule that cheapest is never the best. It might be ok, its might work, it might not be pretty, it may be functional...but cheapest is never the best in my book.
