I'm a Lady looking to do Tiling!!!!!!!

Hi all,

I'm looking for a career change and would like to get into tiling....but all the courses i've looked at are miles away and would need to take weeks of work which just couldn't happen and most of the courses seem to be at least over £1000. I'm looking to see if anyone knows of anyone that does apprenticeships or maybe just weekend work so I could get the experience...I live in the Hertfordshire area....can anybody help please!!!????????? : )

its a hike but you need to get to newcastle area

north east tiling training do a course over 2 weekends and including accreditation its 500 quid, read the reviews, not a bad word to be said

you then go back to do nat stone course on a friday for 150 quid

Hi Louisa, I also come from Hertfordshire but went to nett, I just wanted to do the natural stone but had to do the whole course to link in with stone work, the whole course is a week. With traveling, the course and a bit spending money which did'nt exceed £1000, it would probably be one of the best investments you could make, Darren knows his stuff and you can ask as many questions as you like. But don't give up your day job at the moment just work on the weekend and build up your client list. Ps where exactly in Herts are you

Good to see another woman interested in tiling.
Check out PTS, theyre in Harlow. Theyre very good I'd recommend the 4 week course if you can push to it, which you can do in 4 straight weeks or in two seperate two week courses.
