laptop problem

the wifes laptop won't work without being on charge so i bought a new battery off ebay but it's still the same. could it be the charger? i don't want to shell any more money out unnecessarily. any ideas? cheers

the connection point must be ok as it's still working. it just won't work without the ac power lead

i'll borrow my sister's charger tomorrow to try as it's the same laptop. mine s got a different connection. cheers doug

i'll try the charger before i risk tampering with the connections neale, if i fix i'll probably get no thanks and if i break it i'm a marked man. maybe i'll just leave it to her :lol:
