Do check out the PLS FT 90.I bought one a year ago and a fabulous piece of kit.It actually does a 4 lined cross rather than just a 90 degree which is great for squaring up rooms and is a massive plus over the others on the market.I am just setting out a large floor at the moment and I am still clearly picking up the laser 13metres away.

I use the laser to set out initially then ping lines on the ground. I find it's an easier way of transferring lines through doorways and round corners etc.

Same here. Only use mine for setting out and transferring to another room. Handy but doesn't replace a chalk line, just aids it.
