After reading this thread, I'm looking at buying the Dewalt 089d1 as it looks great! A new screwfix has opened near me, and they have 10% off everything! £423 after the discount, which seems quite a good price. I blame you @3_fall :)

Haha nothing to do with me Magga, I haven't even reviewed it on here!
But £423 would be a great price, mines from FFX cheapest I could find at the time at £454.

Well I've got it now, and I must say it's quite impressive!

How do you normally mount yours? I've got a pole that I used with my old one. Ideally I want something with height adjustment to mount it on!

There are so many ways to answer that question,
and they'd all be wrong! :D
Up to now I've been able to use the strong magnets on to beading,
The bracket that comes with it screwed to timbers and a tripod. I will try at some point to fit it to my Stanley adjustable pole, just haven't had need or time.

Here we are @JulianSidney, @LEE MAC
A little test performed just now at 1pm in the garden, bright sunlight, on a white wall!
U can see cross hairs of my old Fat Max SCL laser and the cross hairs of my new Dewalt green multiline laser. (The horizontal green line is below the black line, they were different heights.)
Second pic shows the green line extends much further than the red.
Third pic, well, conclusive proof I think.

Oh the Fat Max, 75mm from wall,
Dewalt, 790mm! :)

Yep, there's no comparison, the green laser is much better, but you get what you pay for as the saying goes
