Laying of Victorian tiles

Hi all

Just a question relating to laying reclaimed victorian tiles. The tiles are about 20mm thick and about 80mm by 80mm square at a rough guess. The tiles are to be laid outside the front entrance to a residence. The original base is concrete, so firm and rigid. Is there a specific adhesive recommended for this application, or could i use any recognised quality brand, i.e Bal cementitious? Also, what would you recommend I use to revitalise the look of the tiles.....being original, reclaimed tiles, they are around 100 years old and looking rather tired.

Brad - Sorry about the delay but my daughter was playing solitaire!

Reclaimed victorian tiles - depending on how 'tired' they look Lithofin stain away should dissolve oil,grease,sealants,hardened wax,paint,adhesives etc.. in other words anythng 'Lacquered' (play on words).
Make sure the edges of the tiles are clean as you really need a maximum joint of 2mm.
The adhesive to fix to solid screed base should be as suggested a quality range of frostproof/waterproof cement based. Bal/Ardurit/Mapei/etc.. either in a fast set or 24hr depending on site conditions and need for access.
