Hi guys

ive got a chip board floor screw to joists.
i put down 6mm plywood screwed
I used Granfix acrylic primer
then I put down UHF matting
and used ultra level it over the top
when the floor layer came in he said that it has got to come up as you can't use laytex on a wood base floor is he right

I assumed from the opening post it wasn't being tiled, Amtico/Karndean was what I thought. If I'm wrong, I agree the 6mm ply isn't suitable for tiling.

No it's cushion flooring

There was a few little hair line cracks

I used to use level it 1 and had the same hairline cracking over UFH, that's why I stopped using it and switched to weber floor flex. The fibres make a big difference to the structural integrity IMO.

Can you put cushion flooring ocer UFH?
