I have to lift 62 square metres of porcelain floor tiles. I'm sure that the tiles can be lifted easily using a power chisel, but how on earth do you get the addhesive off the concrete screed in order to lay new porcelain tiles? I have underfloor heating pipes running through the screed. Is it going to take ages to remove the addhesive?

Experienced advice would be most welcome.

well , if adhesive is stuck well could be 2 days graft, but this only a guess depends on how well adhesive is stuck and how hard you work lol lol. just make sure you price well if case of worst case senario. dave....

p.s. is there no way you cant re-level , onlt talking about 10mm increase in height.

Much thanks for your time. Resetting floor level is not an option as levels set to low profile door threshholds, attached house floor level and outside decking. The new build is our architect designed, dream retirement home which has geothermal underfloor heating and floor tiles throughout. Our tile supplier sent us our floor tiles in two separate batches. Problem is that second batch (different batch number) is totally different from the first batch which are no longer available. We are talking about very expensive porcelain tiles.
