Hi there, just looking for a bit of advice please.
We have a limestone floor in our wet room and the surface has been damaged by our cleaner who splashed bleach onto the surface. It has etched the surface so now you can see light matt areas.
Have had a guy round to look at a repair who says he will have to hone the whole floor so it matches.
does this sound like the correct repair?
thanks

I agree. It really depends on how long the bleach sat on the stone. If the etch is deep the diamonds need to come out. Floors can be honed with either diamonds or honing powders. Honing powders work best if the floor has lippage but if it has been flattened before diamonds are your best bet because the powder can get jammed into the grout lines and can be difficult to remove.
