Limestone floor tiles.

Hi all!,
I'm new on here so my name is Matt Taylor, I'm a director of Taylor Trade Ltd a plumbing, tiling, joinery and plastering company.
I'm just looking for some advice on a job I went to look at tonight.
It's about 50 m2 of limestone floor tiles, varying from 1200x600x20-800x600x20 with a circular feature in the center of the floor.
I have done plenty of other natural stone tiling but nothing this big! I'm just wondering if there is anything I should be aware of? The tiles will be laid over a screed which is covering wet underfloor heating.
Will the tiles be able to be laid straight on to the screed?
Will I need any expansion joints?
And I think I will have to get the tiles sent off to be cut round the central feature.
Also how much should I be charging for this labour only?
Any feed back would be great

Hi Matt, welcome along to the forum.
If I were you I would be looking to employ a tiler to do this job as there are a few variables to look at.
Do you know what the screed is?
Good chance it could be a gypsum screed.
Most certainly needs de-coupled.

The screed type is what you need to know which it would seem you have not asked about. Plenty tilers on here would relish that job if you were subcontracting it out/passing it on.

Hi Matt, 50 sq.m. is not that big. Also, don't think you need to sent off tiles, to cut ... Tiler should be able to cut , on site
Meddalion is 1200. Good tiler should be able to cut any size circle or any other shape, on site

with angle grinder , and finished edge with polisher

Yeah I thought so, the guy has offered to send them off to his stone supplier to get them routed so that suits me.
Looks a good job though mate bet that took a while to do.

Thanks, it took me about 2-3 hours to cut around medallion.
