Limestone sealing and cutting

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

Hello. Have just taken delivery of our pale limestone tiles (tumbled, cream/beige) and am fitting them myself (have tiled a full travertine bathroom and slate kitchen floor before) so have some experience, however, would you recommend sealing the tiles before they are laid? Also, what would you use to cut them? Only need straight cuts. The tiles are 600x400.

I am sure these questions have been asked before, but I did look and couldn't see what I needed, so thanks for your help.

No need to seal before laying them, you only need to seal them before and after grouting. For cutting them you need a good diamond blade
