i was tiling a kitchen floor today with b&q cheapos customer bought them obviously and i had just finished grouting and dropped my pencil and it chipped the edge of the tile only a tiny little chip but couldnt believe it wasnt a heavy pencil by the way just a standard hb anyway mixed a bit of ivory grout with a hint of grey and it matched perfectly i know noone heres gonna admit to doing this little touch up job themselves or if you do have you got any bodger tips . mine was under where the washing machines going just goes to show how rubbish b&q tiles are

brinkley... I know too many. The aim is to try and avoid needing them as you progress.

Confession.. I did a set on a large wall and just one 'white' (shadow cast) tile looked out. It stuck out like a sore thumb. I chiselled it out but nipped another tile
in the process, D'oh! a larger decorative one. :yikes:
I repaired it with car body filler and touched it in with white gloss.

Mums the word!

Here is one i repaired a few weeks ago..marble tile with underfloor heating, as the tiler was finishing he dropped something on the tile and chipped it..right in the doorway..:yikes: Tile could not be removed due to electric underfloor heating. Once polished you could not see the chip.
