Gerrard is going no where and I dont want the special eejit there. Most clubs have loads of debt, look at MU, over 500 mill.

Crewe Alex have no debts, £ for £ they are one of the most bouyant teams going, they own their ground outright and the training grounds as well, they own the academy outright and dont pay silly wages.

:8:
and their a feeder team for Liverpool

and united are up to there eyeballs, as Dom said Americans,we ARSENAL might not have won anything, but we not in dept!! Mr wenger is a clever man on the markets
are you sure about the gunners not being in debt mate???? What has arsene got to do with the clubs finances anyway? he may have thought he's developed a "tomorrows team" but the Reals will come in, like they will do, and lure the young nurtured talent away to sunnier climes..... rant over:smilewinkgrin:

i would be amazed if we sold for £500 mil...as dubai wouldnt pay £450mil, 2 years ago and the debt has increased since then...

if an investor bought liverpool for £500 mil and then you add the cost of a new stadium £400 mil and £50-£100 mil on new players, then thats £1 billion!!! it wouldnt be viable.....i hope it goes for as low as possible so theres more chance of the money going into the team...

rafa benitez is a lucky man because all this sale talk has took the heat off him..i was his number 1 fan. when we got him in 2004 i thought he was right but now i cant wait to see him go...thanks raf, you did your best and i appreciate what you tried to do but you dont get the english prem league.. anyway, he'll be at juve or real. he knows he's going...

if the sale does go pear shaped, then stevie g should be allowed to go with all the fans blessing. he's been the equivalent of super man for us and he deserves to have a shot at winning a title before he retires...barca would be awesome for him and likewise

Liverpool fans are well known for getting behind the managers we dont shout about getting them out unless there is a real need, all the fans have been calling for is the yanks out but benitez signed is own death warant by saying we would definetley finish top 4 I personaly hope we dont. As for the special one I was hoping King Kenny would take back the reigns but I would'nt be too upset if Mourinho took over but I dont think he is at Anfield for the managers job more to get Stevie-g to sign for inter which I would not want to see Stevie is the backbone in our team.....Alby :deal2:
