thanks for replying, yes it is freestanding and am using 10cm square stone tiles. My local supplier suggests using flexible floor adhesive....any thoughts ?

keraflex,maybe using the additive to make it a 2-part considering it is stone

The heat from the burner my just pop the plaster... is it boarded walls or render with skim..?
