Logos for web sites

Hi there, I am having a web site designed at the mo, and i am trying to find where i could go to look at different tiling logos to get some insperation.
Does anyone know any web sites that i could have a look at to get some ideas?

is there anywhere that you can down load some for free?

I know this isnt what you asked for but it might help

I use a logo design software package called AAA Logo which lets you design logos and also has a collection of logos which you can redesign to suit your needs. It's easy to use.

I think it costs on this site but you can get it for free on some well know file sharing websites

no its not with mi-store 😳 i did have a good chat with them and he is a very nice bloke, very helpful, but i decided to go with a company i used before a few years ago, there only up the road from me, and theres are very similiar to the way the mi store one works. But as im not very computer savvy that if i get stuck when editing it, then he will do it for me, he used to do this before on the old site and it only cost me a cup of tea as he would do it when he was passing. it should be ready soon, cant wait to see it....

My suggestion would be to give "your man" a brief (i.e. colours, rough idea of design and font types) and get him to come up with some suggestions.

I was very lucky with my logo, in so much as I gave my company name and preferred colours to a web designer friend, and he designed a logo that looks great on my van and letter heads but is perfect for websites too.

i was thinking of doing that but really need some inspiration on as what to do. dont want to copy anyone elses just thought that i could get some ideas from others and perhaps it would come to me.
he has said he will design one for me if i give him an idea of what i like, but i dont know what to have oh decisions deccisions...

What's you favourite font style?
Square / circular / rectangle logo?
Website only, or polo shirt and van too?

I chose my daughters favourite colours and wanted something that would look good on the van and web...
