I'm writing this post looking for a bit of guidance, basically I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about a career change and I've been looking at tiling for a few months now. I'm looking for professional tilers opinions on whether its still a good trade to get into, i.e. plenty of work, job satisfaction, money to be made etc.
It's a big ask but i was wondering if there is any tilers on this forum around the Manchester/Greater Manchester area or Portsmouth/Hampshire area ( i work in that area during the week) that would be willing to let me work with them a few times and see what the job is like for real, before i spend thousands of pounds on a course.
