You need to get yourself in to the local tile shops and sell yourself. Give them a bit of tile chat and say that you have just moved to the area and could use their help in establishing yourself in the new area.

Get down to your local Builders Merchants (in your work clothes) and get talking to as many plasterers, builders and plumbers as you can. Always have a wedge of business cards in your pocket and get them handed out.

You will make your own luck, so get out there and don't just sit at home waiting for things to happen.
