happy new year to u all

first of ive done 3 quotes in new year and im only hopeful on one of them because ive put in a slightly lower price im getting seriously worried that myself and probably other good tilers in our area (Graces Dad included) are being priced out of jobs ive also noticed alot of these potential clients are getting not just 2 quotes but about 5. This time last year i could have priced my normal rate and there were no problems now i feel if i give them my normal rate im gunna get a baseball bat round my face for being to dear i know i should grin and bear it but ive noticed some of you lot are still able to charge a decent rate without being questioned im losing out on alot of jobs i dont want to keep sitting at home im prepared to drop slightly if need be

i feel with this recession we traders are getting the **** took out of us because they know we need the work and i feel its harder for me caus im young
