Hey All
Great forum on tiles! Lots of brain storming and help! Brilliant!
Ok I have a few simple query:
I have nearly finished installing polished marble tiles (305x305mm) from Wickes (Crema Pearl Marble) in Lounge and hallway. The marble is very lustre and polished (all good so far). Now the question of Grout! I have few sample tiles in my garage on which I have tried Mapei (FF) Jasmine and Beige colour grouts (applying this grout is very easy and smooth) BUT I am not ok with the colour (Jasmine is too white/bright) and (Beige is too redish/ rusty looking). Mapei do not do Limestone/Pebble/Dark Ivory colour (Sad really). So now I am looking at BAL and I called BAL technical hotline for some advise - they said that the best grout will be microcolour wide joint (so far so good), but my question is will this grout be ok for lets say 1.5 mm to 3 mm joints? (I know the minimum is 2 mm) AND will it scratch my marble lustre (polished) tiles when grouting? Anyone has experience in this scenario?
Thanks a lot
