Maintenance salary?

Hi guys i am going for a Maintenance Person interview on monday and the salary just says competetive...i was thinking what if they asked me what id be happy with...after a quick search on the internet i have found the average of around £9 hr or £19k a year..does that seem about right....its for the biggest care home industry in the uk....will be general maintenance involved.

any help would be much appreciated

I would think 19k was on the low side just my opinion, will there be a pension plan/other benefits?

Not sure yet phil....im not even sure if its call out too so i would expect atleast 25k if it was...hopefully all shall be revealed on monday

I've seen from £7.50 to £13 an hour....

I'd agree with 25k ish if call out was involved. If straight forward day time hours, 20k and up is about right.

not sure where your based martino but 25 k for maintenence person up here cant see it
