Hi Kev

If it is under 12 months old take it into a Makita repair agent (Price Tools, Summer lane, Birmingham) They will repair it FOC under warrantee. Even if you got it else where

BTW I have those Stone sanding kits on the web site now mate

Cheers Dave but its over 12 months old. I will give price tools a bell on Monday.

Did you see the post in the for sale section with the makita tools maybe worth a look mate. £140 is a bit steep for a charger.

Oli

Your telling me!!! I paid about £400 for the drill and it has been absolutely brilliant until now when the charger just stopped working on Friday. I need it for a week monday as well:mad2:

Hi Chris,

Just found this post mate. Very generous offer! Do you mean drill or charger? Because I would be happy just to borrow charger if I can't get mine sorted.

Kev

Well I have to say went to Price Tools on Daves advice from Trade Tiler. At first they were'nt very helpful! Shrugged and said get £140 out of your pocket. I asked for the Customer Service Manager at Makita and they agreed even though it was only 12 months warranty it should not just be knackered so quick. They agreed to replace it without quibble for a new one. Great Result:thumbsup:

Thank you for all the help on here especially Dave at TT, Oli and Chris Roe:thumbsup:

Kev
