we have 3 bassets, one dog (done in) and 2 *******, had lots of different dogs over the years and not had a bad one..5 bulldogs, 1 sharpei, german pointer, border collies, 3 mongrels. never seemed to have less than 3 at any one time....oh and 5 kids..

Great choice of dog! LOADS AND LOADS of work and stress as a pup, but really quick to learn and a great all rounder when mature.

It was a full-time job just to get grocercies bought and food prepared for that crew eh?

Hard one that

We have a medium haired male - now 5yrs old and as mad as the day he was born.

Goes mad near other dogs but its fear driven but we havent managed to overcome it unfortunately. Loves the kids to bits and is good nr them but he isnt really a family dog which is a shame. He will not settle in the lounge but pop him in the kitchen and hes out like alight.

Not sure i would have another though!!!

lovely lovely looking puppy ,my last was a black /tan ***** she was so good with people bit didnt want to know other dogs .gpt her from ireland to try to beat the hip probs but she had other health issues & sadly past aged only 3 .they are the most proud looking dogs in the world and soon become a member of the family ,many happy times ahead for you
