Mapei v Buildfix

Before I go off to the pub, :8::hurray:,( Hurlimans in bottles,mmmmm )

I mentioned yesterday that buildfix was the same as mapei, alpha said not like for like. Mapei tec.said buildfix spf super is the same as keraflex maxi.
Wanted to find out because my local b & q is the over side of the city to tile giant,canterburys not big but traffics a nightmare sometimes.So if your nearer to a b & q than tile giant it could save some time.

Has anyone used both,and is there any difference? (Apart from b & q being £3.00 cheaper.)

As far as i know it is the same products, just re-bagged..if mapei tech say that is so , then you are right..

buildfix grouts are different colours to mapei own range. b & q cheaper than tile giant ???? the one near me isn't

I think they are the same grouts mark , just named easier for DIY..

yes buildfix is the same as keraflex maxi i have used both,

When I was at mapei for one of their days we was told it was'nt the same because the company who owns B&Q would'nt pay the going rate, so it was down graded.

I'm only repeating what was informed at the time.

All info is great.. i have not used buildfix.. maybe when aph phones on monday then we can get feedback.
