I used plywood, ardurit X7 and Adrion 90 admixture in my shower at home - 1986 - hand made French 3inch glazed terracotta - still there!

Back then must be proper wide joint grout . Must be a little tricky to keep clean .

Bal sandstone wide joint. Because it’s wide it scrubs up well with Cif .
