Mapeproof ESM

Hi all,

Anyone ever used this product?

I did a series of concrete supermarket floors without DPM's a few years back and used a product called Mapei MF Primer - which provided a moisture barrier beneath the tile adhesive

However when I've looked for MF Primer it looks like it doesn't exist anymore:mad2:By the looks of it Mapei have replaced it with this Mapeproof ESM.

Just interested to know what this stuff is like:smilewinkgrin:

I will answer my own question in case anyone ever needs this stuff:lol:

Yes Mapeproof ESM is basically the new name for Primer MF

It can be used to provide a vapour barrier to substrates without DPM's, so that the residual moisture does not effect the finished floor:hurray:
