vibration tiling, whats that?
Well impressed there Wayne,some graft is that ,great method needs good tecnique,the nearest we have to that type of work is a pourable thick bed adhesive,without the vibration....and that isn't easy to masteryou setthe floor out in big bays and screed a bay at a time. you then put a cement slurry over the screed and lay the tiles . you use boards on the screed to work off or if using hexagonal tiles use shoes to walk on the ties with. the floor is then made flat with a machine on rollers that vibrates. next day you sweep silica sand into the joints then squegee epoxy over it. put more sand on top and use a scrubbing machine to get the excess off. layed thousands of metres like this over 5 years before i got out of it. layed 2500sqm in 6 weeks out in nigeria with only 3 of us and 8 nigerian labourers. happy days🙂
