Marking tiles for cutting !

Ahh I just get a hammer and knock out the wall.I love full tiles............OK I agree with you guys-both.I'm on Dave's side on this one.Tape for speed,pencil for accuracy.

Always use a tape find it more accurate

Always reverse for me, unless masive tiles.

mostly i flipped the tile then reverse but some bigger tiles id measure caus im a weakling

I do both.

When I'm cutting a load that I think are going to be the same size I measure up for tiles at each end of a run above the skirting then cut a couple.

If they both fit all the way along, I just go back to the cutter set it up and cut the rest.

I also use both but reverse mainly and have found it useful round akward shapes such as toilets to cut a peice of card/paper the same size as the tile and template it no wastage and accurate.

:hurray:Apreciate that but most time its better to take the toilet and basin pedestal out and tile under their is normaly enough scope for that unless it is tile on tile and i dont do much of that

I use a tape whatever the grout size plus 2mm works for me each to their own
