Markings on Glazed Porc's

Hi folks,

Half way through a pallet of tiles and have come across several boxes with markings on tile face
which is in pattern of back surface of tile. I have cleaned with Grimex and heavy duty tile cleaner
but as it dries markings reapear on surface. Any Idea's on a product that will remove markings ?

Tiles are from "Duratile" Any Ideas pls ?

I have seen this a few times with a range CTD used to stock , take them back as they are seconds.

looks like they've been stacked before second firing has cooled glaze..assuming it's not a transit wax,(which I very much doubt)

Ctd had an issue with a few batches and tried Abra clean and you could still see the criss cross.

They were told it was down to stacking tiles when hot or sumit like that anyway.

gunna be a bugger if you started laying and can't get the same batch...!!

That's the ones CTD stopped getting in... cheap chinese tiles they were.

Thanks for the reponse Guy's....
This was a labour only joab thank god ! I have explained to customer that these cannot be
cleaned & fitted.He has taken the issue up with the supplier who has agreed to help resolve
however the supplier has advised him that these tiles can no longer be sourced as Duratile
have went under ? Anyone know if this is the case ?

I've fitted them on a few jobs & never had an issue with them.

I have fitted loads but some customers did make complaints about the said markings Ctd but as you the ones I fitted seemed ok.
