Mechanically fixing boards to wall

What do you guys do when screwing and plugging plasterboard to walls if you want a more secure fixing?
Do you dot and dab them on and then drill through pb and wall, push a plug in then screw?
Do you need washers?

Use hammer fixings macten! Wedi ones
I always mechanicaly fix pb after dot n dabbing!!!

I just use the dabs of adhesive, if you have any fixtures that will be fixed to the wall then add extra adhesive to that area....

Screw and plug once the dot n dab has dried....circle where your 'muck' is and bobs ur uncle..fanny's ur aunt

If you decide to screw the boards don't let the screw head break the paper surface, it will be next to useless.

I always make sure that drywall screws have washers round them to support in the heads of windows etc.
