Melting fast

Woke up this morning and something was missing !!!! Yeah the 60cm Icicles that have been hanging from the guttering for the past 2 weeks!. I looked down at the snow and its turning green !! what is this green stuff ?? Some say it may be ....GRASS ?

How is it around your way ? i am due to travel to Leeds soon for NYE...will it be wise ?

Raining in Fife, but the snow will still take a week to clear here.....My sister is driving up from Leeds to Scotland today and is halfway here already.

The night of the 23rd here it was 8 under and by the morning it was 4 over and nearly all the ice thawed. A really quick change over a few hours.
Your question regarding whether it's wise to go to Leeds.....is it weather related or just general? :lol:

technically its not Leeds, Saltaire actually and I love the place But said Leeds as I am snob and didnt want to say Bradford ! :smilewinkgrin:

well its +6 here and its like a heatwave compeared to what we have had these last few days, snows begining to melt and we can hopefully get back to normal and not have to spend 3 hours put 40 layers of clothes on just to leave the house.
