just had fitted a lovely porcelain tiled kitchen floor ,however the tile has a textured surface and it is so hard to keep clean, any suggestions

Hi there, raised grain & textured tiles are harder to keep clean due to obvious dirts get engrained in it.
Most glazed tiles are not suitable for sealing.
But a floor steaming cleaner is always a good place to start.

Most sealers impregnate the tile to give you the sealed finish, porcelain is not porous so most sealers would be in affective

Hi Michael

The best thing to use is a good solvent based impregnator which is specifically designed for use on ceramic and porcelain tiles - all porcelain tiles will benefit from a impregnating treatment

Yes high peak is wrong
porcelaine tiles are micro pours so some do need sealing

Get a cleaner?

therefore to confirm , it would be advisable to steam clean and then get the floor sealed
