Micro max 2

Hi all just looked at a job and the customer has been to Topps and they sold her micro max 2 jasmin. What's it like ? I ask cause a few say its pants shall I tell her to send it back (with the two tubs of white star!)

Not a fan of it mate, dries on the tile face way too quickly which makes washing off an absolute mare. It's supposed to be an improvement on the old one but, IMO, they've made it worse. If it ain't broke don't fix it (and don't add 33% to the price :lol

I was supplied it for some split slate porcelain tiles,,,,OMG nightmare....Hate the stuff on riven finish. On smooth tiles its ok.

even on trade prices Ian its £14 for the white and over £16 for coloured grout it not great to use the tile master grout 3000 is far superior in my opinion and half the price

I have recently used the micromax 2 and found initially it does dry quick and is a pain to get off the face of the tile but once aware worked out a routine to liminate that. Was ideal for the job I used it on as it was polished porcelain and I wanted to use a smooth grout and not a coarse grout

Problem is Kev, it's meant to be a grout suitable for all scenarios, it wouldn't be possible to use it on a riven slate.
