Is there a minimum age that someone can attend a course?

My son is 15 and although he wants to go into graphic design he mentioned to me he might like to attend a course with me.
I don't really know if it would be his thing but he's interested.
I think the only thing that concerns me is I could be wasting the money if after a few days or a week he finds it's not to his liking.

If with a parent I can't see any minimum age for a course, but if they attend on their own then I would have thought it's going to be asbosutly minimum 16, most probably 17.

If I was you, I would be wary of paying for a long course for a 15 year old, if they have only expressd a passing interest in attending a tiling course, instead of it being something they are going on about 24/7 and they only thing they have mentioned they want to do.

With you saying
I think the only thing that concerns me is I could be wasting the money if after a few days or a week he finds it's not to his liking.

it sounds like your thinking about a 2 week or longer course, then that's going to be expensive, and it might be an idea to consider a 4 day course for him instead.

why not try and teach him yourself what you get taught..keep notes (good detailed ones) and use them to your boy..
If your lad is owt like mine,he is bored in minutes rather than months...do the course yourself and teach each other...he will probably end up teaching you a thing or two..lol...Gaz
