Missed grout

Just finished grouting kitchen splash back after taking your good advice. All went well, struggled a bit getting excess grout off as they are bevelled. However this morning in the light off day, I can see a few areas where I have not put enough (or removed)grout along the grout lines. What is the best way of dealing with this? Do not suppose I can just add some more grout. Thanks.

For the excess, depending on how much, a plastic scrapper and or light sandpaper along the joint, for the missing holes, mix a bit more grout and fill in.

Thanks for advice. Will the new grout adhere to the dried grout?

Depending on how full the joint is, you may have to remove some so it will key to it, use a grout removal tool or Stanley knife, mind you don't slip out of the joint and score the tile though
