Mixing Adhesives

Hi All
More intrigued.
Have a small amount of Mapei Keraquick and small amount of Mapei Keraflex maxi left.
Would there be any reaction if i mixed the 2 together or both been Mapei would they still be fine?

Why not mix one and then the other? What's the point in mixing them together? You get the same amount of mixed adhesive either way.

I've probably no intentions on mixing the 2 together.
As i mentioned i was intrigued what what would happen if so.
Just throwing up a thought that may be of intrest as a topic

Will the pot life of the Kerraquick go from 40mins to Kera-not-as-quick 3 hours!!:dizzy2:

depends if you mix the keraquick to the keraflex maxi or vica versa :dizzy2: best thing is save it for one of NM's jobs when your supplying addy for nowt and find out then :lol:.

Oh ok, I'm not sure but I can find out. Not sure my brain's working but the only problems I can think of straight away is if the accelerators and retarders would react with one another. Also do these two products go to a different thickness? If so the cement might be different.

Yes they do.. kera flex maxi is 12mm and kera quick is 6mm beds...


My advice is DO NOT mix them together..
