Hi all .
Another odd ball question.
Has any one tiled a spalsh back in a kitchen in a NEW mobile home???
Just been asked to quote for one and been to have a look at the job.The walls are very ridged with the surface finish on the walls being very much like the back of a baker board (rough to the touch).
The customer know of some one else that had theirs done but am just wondering if there are any pitfalls??
The tiles will 100 x 100mm with a 50mm mosaic band in the centre and most will only be 280mm high with a couple of small areas up to 350mm.
Any information gratefully appreciated.

Call the mobile home Manufacturer and ask them what it is and how it's fixed would be my answer

It can be done... I used to live in a mobile home and the bathroom walls were tiled and I have seen tiled kitchens in others. As long as the walls seem solid it should be ok. I'd use a flexi adhesive though not tubbed gear

Was thinking on those lines but just to be safe getting customer to check with makers what the walls are made of as this is just over a year old.As dont want them coming back in the future saying uve ruined our home.
